Set free the crushed and mistreated! Break off every yoke of bondage! Share your food with the hungry! Provide for the homeless and bring them into your home! Clothe the naked! Don’t turn your back on your own flesh and blood! Then my favour will bathe you in sunlight until you are like the dawn bursting through a dark night. And then suddenly your healing will manifest. You will see your righteousness march out before you, and the glory of Yahweh will protect you from all harm!”.

We continue to stand in awe of God’s faithfulness and provision.
Bring a Beanie, Bring a Blanket
This is our 3rd year running this campaign, and the support is as always, amazing.
This year we received a record number of blankets and beanies and other clothing items.
Your donations were shared between Abraham Kriel Maria Kloppers children’s home in Yeoville, and many families in Boksburg, Tembisa, Hillbrow and Edenvale.
We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the many ladies who sewed, knitted, and crocheted for this cause.
Food Parcels
During the last three months, an increase in need has seen new families and individuals benefit from receiving food parcels. It is good news to report that there are also those who no longer need our assistance as they can better support themselves.
A total of 332 food parcels were distributed between April and June. The parcels included some cooked and ready to eat meals such as chicken a la king and chicken soup. Our recipients were delighted to receive the cooked meals. The areas that can receive assistance are Kempton, Boksburg, Edenvale and Tembisa, Wychwood.

Non-Perishable Items you can donate
Consider donating any form of non-perishable items. These items can be stored for long periods of time without expiring. Items include tinned food, rice, pasta, toiletries, cleaning materials.
Jars of Hope
These were started many years ago and became very popular during the pandemic. Each jar can make a pot of soup to feed 6-8 people. The dry ingredients are in the jar and then fresh spinach,carrots, cabbage, potatoes
etc. can be added.
This year to date we have handed out 100 jars.
Providing Meals
Through donations of chicken, mince, rice etc we were able to cook many meals over the past 2 months for those that have been sick and also for families in mourning over the death of a loved one. It is such a blessing to be able to show love and care in this simple action. Thank you to all who
donated.
Ongoing Projects
Vegetable gardens, for some reason our carrots and beans are growing at a snails pace this winter
Hillbrow, we support the ministry team from newDAY church with 100 sandwiches per month
Daughters of dignity
Street outreaches in Edenvale with REVIVE, supplying cooked, healthy meals
Distributing good quality 2nd hand clothing to shelters, individuals and the homeless
Visiting senior saints at a retirement village in our area
